King Khafre Pharaoh is primarily known for commissioning the second largest pyramid at Giza and for the Great Sphinx of Giza, both of which are iconic structures of ancient Egypt. He is also known for a magnificent diorite statue found in his valley temple. Khafre was considered a deity or a holy person in life and a deity in death.

Anubis is the ancient Egyptian jackal-headed god associated with death, mummification, and the afterlife, often depicted as a protector of the dead and a guide for souls. He played a key role in the weighing of the heart ceremony, a judgment process for the afterlife, and was believed to have invented mummification to preserve the body for the soul. Despite his association with death, Anubis was considered a good and protective deity by the Egyptian.
